The Sacred Balance of the Full Sturgeon Moon- Summer Workshop Weekend 2012
The sturgeon moon of August represents a time of plenty in Native American cultures. The sturgeon is an ancient fish ( google it for an amazing amount of information!) and we will relate it to David Suzuki’s book -The Sacred Balance of ourselves within this world.
The Sacred Balance of the Full Sturgeon Moon: The Lakota people have a saying: “Mitakuye Oyasin” which means: All My Relations or We are All Related. We hope you will join us this retreat weekend as we explore our interconnectedness with all things and the sacred and delicate balance inherent in nature and within ourselves.
The intention is an active conference style weekend of informative workshops , asana and meditation and group discussion.
Current trainees are expected to participate in the entire weekend to expand the training experience and foster strong relationships and increased knowledge of teaching asana , applying principles and techniques.
Graduates and guests have the option to take as few or as many classes as they choose allowing for more retreat inspired free time.
