  • Register and pay in full by January 31, 2012. Payment is non refundable. Use the payment option below to register.
  • On the Road Trainees (Bliss Bliss Bliss trainees ) and any Summer Intensive students who did not attend the Summer retreat are required to attend full weekend.
  • Alumni can attend either full day or partial weekend  including Saturday daytime only option without staying over night.

What books should I bring? And what should I prepare?

If you are a trainee:

Please bring your manual , Stephens, IHY and the sutras. You will not need your other textbooks. Bring writing materials.

Each of you is expected to present a prepared asana segment in small groups to other trainees for critique as discussed in training on the first evening together, Thursday February 16

What does all inclusive mean?
It is an all inclusive weekend which means 3 meals each day  and double occupancy rooming is included in the price.
Room assignments will be available upon check in Thursday evening. Switching rooms is allowed if agreeable to everyone concerned.May I bring additional food ?
You are welcome  and encouraged to bring healthy snacks to share with the group. You may also bring supplemental dishes to add to the  meals if you so desire, but the meals will be sufficient. A refrigerator is available for personal dietary needs.Please label these and be sure to take them home with you at the end of the retreat stay. Meals provided  will be vegetarian but not vegan.Should I bring bottled water?
The drinking water is safe. Please bring a reusable water bottle to use the entire weekend. Tea ,coffee and water are available throughout the weekend . The tea choices are limited so feel free to add to the selection.What are the rooms like?
The rooms are dormitory in nature. No televisions or telephones.
Towels and sheets are provided. Bring your own toiletries.
PLEASE BRING YOGA MAT, BRICK, 2 BLANKETS, A STRAP AND ANY OTHER YOGA PROPS YOU USE FOR ASANA CLASS

Bathrooms are shared.

What clothing should I bring?
Yoga attire , a robe , outdoor clothing to walk the grounds and the labyrinth, comfortable shoes

Are telephones available?
Telephones at Kearns Spirituality Center can only be used to make local calls.
The telephone in the hallway is staffed to receive outside calls from 8am-3:30pm  The number is:412.366.1124
There is cell phone accessibility and I suggest you bring one for personal calls.
There is  limited wireless accessibility.Can you tell me a little bit more about the retreat center?
It is a beautiful and peaceful retreat center.
There is a chapel. a woodland area and indoor space for private meditation as well as a labyrinth to walk.
There is on site easily accessible parking .
It is a smoke free facility.
